My love with doodling continues here :)

The best way to express your emotions is the doodle art.
The colors & lines depict flow of emotions.
Some times feeling is same some times it varies.

I have doodled them at times when I was high on excitement, love, adventure & anger.
Best from anybody doesn't come naturally.

I hope you liked.

wAter

Everywhere water is a thing of beauty, gleaming in the dewdrops; singing in the summer rain; shining in the ice-gems till the leaves all seem to turn to living jewels; spreading a golden veil over the setting sun; or a white gauze around the midnight moon.

StRength

Strength

A word with so many meanings

Mostly seen as in someone’s physical power

But what about mental strength?

Emotional strength?

You say I'm stronger than you

That I can overcome any obstacle placed in front of me

But don't let my exterior fool you

I'm trying to be strong

I want to be there for you, to help you

But truth is

I'm weak

Brittle

Powerless

Slowly losing it

Wasting away

Drifting further and further from this thing called 'life'

Soon I'll be too far gone for anyone to notice

For anyone to save

I tried to fight it

To fight the darkness

I fought through every tear

Every breath

Yet in the end, I couldn't win

It got the best of me

And I'm sorry

Concept 3

Pichwai paintings are works of art that are used to adorn the walls of temples, behind the idol. The Pichwai style is from the Nathdwara School, and is identified by characteristic features of large eyes, broad nose and a heavy body, similar to the features on the idol of Shrinathji.
The motif is inspired from a very famous character, the cow from Pichwai Paintings.
Hope you like it.

"Wheel Of Life"

Round and round we go
Never stopping, never wondering
Our life's struggle has it's beginning
It will always have it's ending

As long as there's beauty in the sunrise,
The sound of laughter at a sweet surprise
A child reaching for our hands to hold
The ride on life’s Wheel, we'll savor
Just knowing the blessings of God's favor,
Our hearts will be happy and we'll never grow old!!

color of life

We are the keepers of the future of the hallowed museum of memories past and future
The walls speak volumes of mistakes made and promises forgotten

Learn from the education of our elders and the innocence of our children
Our time is sketched on the canvas of life bleeding the colors of wonder
It is the embrace we all fear; the leap into the abyss of possibility that will cultivate in the greatness of fortune and eternalize the meaning we all search desperately for
The answer to the one question that hides within us is resting, waiting for the great awakening.....

rAw mango: sAnjay gArg

Sanjay Garg founded Raw Mango in 2008. He grew up absorbing colors of traditional textiles in a festival-rich village in Rajasthan. He studied textile design at NIFT Delhi. Sanjay works out of Delhi but spends a lot of time with his craftsmen. He believes in respecting their skills and experience rather than forcing them into new techniques thus helping to get the finest results.

Raw mango is a contemporary Indian hand-woven textile crafted using traditional techniques. Presently we sell saris, fabrics and stoles. These products reflect the skill sets of more than 150 craftsmen employed by raw mango.
Raw mango was born out of a thought to re-look fashion and design without any preset notions. We do not believe our designs need to be kitschy to be Indian. Our colors and designs find its roots in Indian philosophy and traditions. Raw mango is not just about the designs but also about a larger program that has managed to uplift an entire community by creating a new value for an existing and ignored product. Handloom saris, though worn by a large number in India, remains an area perceived to have little scope for new explorations; We have adapted traditional designs to make them simple, sophisticated and distinctly contemporary, thereby creating a fresh new aesthetic that is both indigenous and modern. We sell through various exhibitions and at high-end stores in different parts of India. Our growth in the last two years as a testimony of the their patronage and the potential of the niche category of contemporary hand-woven textiles.

RAHUL MISHRA

RAHUL MISHRA

Young Fashion designer pass-out from NID, has something to give back to society & is one
who thinks about our rich Indian tradition.
in his words;

Design

"It is for the people, of the people, by the people.
I believe the best way for an Indian designer to make it big is by being Indian in his approach.
Dior is very French. Armani is truly Italian. I showcase the splendour of Indian fabric and design.
I don’t believe in over designing.
While designing, you are tempted to put on extra, and that’s when you spoil it.
The best compliment a lady wearing my clothes will get is, “you are looking beautiful”, not “your dress is looking beautiful”.
Clothes should take the personality of the wearer just like liquid takes the shape of its container, not vice versa.
For me, each garment is styled according to the flow and texturing or embroidery on the fabric.
Let the craft lead the way. Tailoring and cutting are important for me.

The last thing I want someone to say is ‘Rahul Mishra is repetitive’."

some of his creations from traditional handloom fabrics from
Maheshwar, Chanderi & Banaras.

Women of Color

Women of Color

Women of color are superficial
Women of color are women of wonder
Women of color are those who contains the artificial heart
Women of color are our mothers
Women of color are special
Women of color don't need to speak of themselves
It is others that speak of them
Women of color have supernatural eyes
I think about them day and night
Laugh at them they'll laugh as well cause
You’re laughing at yourself
Above the mountains their guts can surpass
Across the ocean and time their stories stays
If you see one smile then you will see true happiness
